Diversity Spotlight - ESL Class

First Alliance Church is located in an extremely diverse community. One of the areas we felt might be open to exploring was offering ESL classes. We launched a test class to see what kind of interest we would get, offering class Tuesday nights in July - of which there are 5! The first week, as any good start up typically experiences, we had all teachers and no students… except for a potential student showing up as we were locking up the door. The next week there were 9! What an exciting difference.

We will continue to host an introductory class here on Tuesday evenings in July and look into starting a more long term class in the fall. Stay tuned! If you or someone you know are interested in class this fall, contact our church office (email or phone).
